Who wants so much more then to be a friend
The tension
The horror
The words most of all that bring it to a shuddering halt
Not talking
Turns to ignoring messages
To just empty silence on the phone
Wondering where the person you confided in went
Disappeared with one phrase
Thinking its all over now
Trying not to rely on them anymore
Friendship wasn't meant to be
More then that could never happen
Everything always comes crashing down
With wrong words
Or an angry outburst at the wrong time
But its never the right time for an angry outburst
Because why articulate feelings?
When you can just make them go away
Why tell someone what's wrong?
When you can fix it yourself
Why do anything?
Why not just end it all?
