Black Dress

A girl
Flowing black dress
Standing in a storm
That's raging around her

Feeling so out of control
Nothing within reach
To hold on
To steady her

Rain pouring down
Drenching pale white skin
Dancing around
With red ugly scars
Showing that she is no more than her past

Wet black pavement
Tears coursing down cheeks
Head raised
To the ever darkening sky
Screaming out
Mourning for what is lost
For what will never be found again

Her deadly savior
Which is nor more
Not a knight in shining armor
But a shiny sliver of a silver blade
Which will never be anything

But a monster
Her own deadly sin
Her forever addiction
That will eventually kill

The blades Magic is gone
Leaves bloody marks wherever it touches
Scars wherever it leaves
Its healing is gone

The healing was fake
Never healed only damaged
A temporary solution
To a long lasting problem
Feelings come and go
But scars last forever
